On Sunday March 1 we held a brainstorming session at Unity of New Westminster. The room was full of thoughtful ideas, generous spirit, and genuine excitement about what our community could become.
To keep the conversation going and growing, we held a followup meeting on Zoom on Monday March 9, to form "The Connection Crew".
The Connection Crew will be an open, ongoing group for anyone who enjoys imagining, shaping, and helping bring ideas to life in our community. Some people may want to help lead projects, some may want to contribute ideas, and some may simply want to stay connected to what is emerging. All of that is welcome.
Attached are the minutes of the meeting. It was the first of what I expect will be several gatherings, since we’ll likely repeat the brainstorming process again in a few months and continue building on the ideas that emerge.
