Sanctuary

Unity of New Westminster's sanctuary is a lovely and bright non denominational sacred space which can seat a maximum of 90 people. The padded seats are able to be moved, to suit your preferred setup. The sanctuary is equipped with an electric piano, WiFi, a large screen smart TV, a laptop, high definition camera, laptop, microphones and sound system. Live stream to YouTube is available for your special event. Sanctuary rental includes use of the hall and the kitchen facilities.

Community Hall

Our community hall accommodates up to 60 people seated at 6' rectangular tables. The hall is available for rent and is perfect for birthday parties, yoga classes or dance classes. It would also work well as a meeting, seminar or rehearsal space.

Unity of New Westminster's community hall is equipped with a 60" HD Smart TV suitable for PowerPoint presentations from your PC, YouTube viewing or casting from your mobile device.

Hall rental includes use of the kitchen, including the fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes and cutlery.

Sanctuary Rental:

  • Minimum rental 2 hours
  • One time use (weddings,celebrations of life):
    • $250 for first 2 hrs;
    • additional time $125/hr
  • Recurring use:
    • $200 for first 2 hrs;
    • additional time $100/hr 
  • A/V Technician (optional):
    • $150 for first 2 hours;
    • additional time $50/hour.
  • Camera operator/live stream (optional):
    • $150 for first 2 hours ;
    • additional time $50/hr 
  • Event Coordinator (optional):
    • $100 for first 2 hours;
    • additional time $40/hr.

Community Hall rental:

  • Minimum rental 2 hours
  • Single use:
    • $80 for first 2 hours
    • Additional hours $35/hr
  • Recurring use: (4 rentals minimum)
    • $70 for first 2 hours
    • Additional hours $30/hr
  • Rate for non-profits $30/hr

Deposits

To secure the rental, we require at time of booking: 

  • $100 Refundable damage deposit
  • 50% rental deposit

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation fees:

  • within 30 days of event: full refund
  • within 2 weeks: 50% deposit non-refundable. damage deposit will be refunded.
