On Sunday, July 14 at 11:00 am, Unity of New Westminster begins a “Magical Metaphysical Tour” - a 5 week Sunday morning series on the metaphysics of the Beatles and their music.
The music of the Beatles is beloved, beautiful and brimming with wisdom. The songs of John, Paul, George and Ringo inspire us with ideas about how to add more calm, connection and contentment to life.
Each Sunday features one of the “Fab Four” in an inspirational lesson. The programs will also include live sing-along performances of Beatle songs. The talks will be presented by Unity Minister Rev. Rhona Segarra. Music will be performed live by the engaging and talented Peter Williams, whose love for the Beatles is equal to his joy when people join in singing the songs with him.
The Sunday program is as follows:
Week 1 July 14, 2024: “Revolution-How do we change our world?” An exploration of the process of change.
Week 2 July 21, 2024: “Take a sad song and make it better.” - Our power to choose how we respond to life’s experiences.
Week 3 July 28, 2024: “You were only waiting for this moment to arise.” Thoughts about loneliness and self-empowerment.
Week 4 August 4, 2024: “We can work it out.” Ideas about loving relationships.
Week 5 August 11, 2024: “Fab Four Festival.” We celebrate with a sing-a-long festival of Beatles songs and a joyful review of their themes as our Magical Metaphysical Tour with The Beatles comes to an end.
Please join us for this fun series as we sing together, reflect on the words, and develop a deeper appreciation for the music of the Fab Four.
